Matt Yemm | Head Coach

Coach Yemm is entering his 7th season of coaching the Lambkins and his first as Head Coach. Has served as the varsity Wide Receivers coach and Head JV Coach.
Family: Son of Dr. Stephen and Shannon Yemm. Brother of Katie & Brandon Cutter, Riley & Stephanie Yemm, and Erin & Jade Mercer. Uncle to Ella, James, August, Emery, Marilyn, Francis & 2 more on their way.
FCHS (2003-2007): A starting quarterback, helped lead Fort Collins (Colo.) High School to two Front Range League championships…Named all-league MVP in 2006…Nominated for the 2006 Wendy’s High School Heisman award…Received both all-state and all-conference honors in each of his last two seasons with the Lambkins…Named first-team all-state and all-Colorado by the Denver Post and second-team all-state by the Rocky Mountain News…Named the 2005 offensive player of the year at FCHS, and the 2006 Lambkin of the Year MVP…Was the Denver Post student athlete of the week and the Fort Collins Coloradoan athlete of the week…A three-sport athlete, also lettered as a point guard on his basketball team and ran sprints for the track team in the spring…A two-time all-conference track athlete, was all-state in the 4×400-meter relay in `06…Holds the school record as a member of the 4×200-meter relay…Helped lead FCHS to the `06 Colorado state track state championship, as well as conference and regional titles…Received the Lawser Award and Team First Award for participation in Fort Collins basketball…The student body president, he also was an honorable mention academic all-state selection.
CSU (2007-2011): 4-year letter winner as a wide receiver and place holder for the Rams. Finished his career having played in 43 straight games, the team’s longest active streak at the time of his graduation. Finished career with 41 catches for 526 yards and 2 TD’s.
Post College: Played semi-professional football for the Basel Gladiators in Basel, Switzerland as the teams Quarterback.


Matt Foster | Defensive Line

Coach Foster played o-line and linebacker in high school at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs. He was a linebacker for Colorado State University for 4 years. He also was a student coach at CSU for 2 years under coach Sonny Lubick. Coach Foster received a Science Degree in Wildlife Biology from CSU and a master’s degree in Education. Coach Foster is a science teacher at FCHS and entering his 18th year teaching and coaching at Collins. He and his wife Kelly were married in 2005 and have 2 kids, Bria and Easton. They live near Severance CO and surround themselves with sports and coaching.

The 2019 season will be Coach Tarver’s 18th year coaching high school football. His coaching career began in California in 2002 at Agoura HS (Agoura Hills, CA) and continued in Colorado at Frederick HS (2007), Fossil Ridge HS (2008-2013) and at Collins for the past 5 years (2014-present). At Agoura HS and Fredrick HS, Tarver coached Wide Receivers, Kickers and Punters and served as the JV offensive coordinator. At Fossil Ridge HS, Tarver served as Freshmen Defensive Coordinator for one season before coaching Quarterbacks for 5 years and working as the offensive coordinator for 4 years under former head coach, and Collins alum, Steve Vecchio. At Collins, Tarver spent his first 2 years working with current Collins Head Coach Matt Yemm coaching Wide Receivers and was the offensive coordinator for the Lambkins conference championship teams in 2014 and 2015. The past 3 seasons Tarver has coached the Collins Quarterbacks and served as the team’s co-offensive coordinator.
Coach Tarver is from Pleasanton in California’s Bay Area. He played football and baseball at Granada HS (Livermore, CA) and continued his baseball career as a pitcher at California Lutheran University (Thousand Oaks, CA) from 1997-2000. Tarver is currently a working as a math teacher at Collins. Coach Tarver and his wife Sarah have two boys: Jaxon and Kade. Tarver’s brother Jason is the defensive coordinator at Vanderbilt University

Coach Robinson is a Technology Education Instructor at Fort Collins high School. He grew up in Thompson, ND where he attended Thompson Public High School. While in High School he competed in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track. While playing for the Tommies he was an all-conference player for Football and Basketball. After High School He played for Valley City State University and Northland Community and Technical College where we won the first ever outright Northern Division title in 1999.
Coach Robinson began his coaching career in Newnan, GA at Northgate High School in 2003-04. In 2005 he was a Varsity Assistant with Mountain View High School under Bart Mayes. In 2006 he was a student assistant with Colorado State University under Head Coach Sonny Lubick and his staff. Primarily working with the Defensive side of the ball. In 2007 he coached at Windsor High School as the Co Defensive Coordinator for the Wizards. From 2008 – 14 he coached in numerous roles for the Lambkins which included Head Freshman Coach for two years and Varsity assistant working with the linebackers and defensive backfield. In 2015-2017 he was the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Severance Middle School for the Hawks.
Coach Robinson and his wife Sarah have two daughters (Mia and Kinsey) that keep them very busy playing competitive Ice Hockey, Basketball and Softball. As a family they enjoy Camping, Snow Skiing, Chicago Bears Football and North Dakota Fighting Sioux Hockey!
